Full Board ~ $425
The center aisle Amish built six stall barn with outside breeze way and hay loft has 10 x 12 matted stalls, automatic fly control, wash rack with hot & cold water and a tack room. A separate feed/storage building sits attractively next to the barn. The farm's easy access entrance with ample turn around in front of the barn is ideal for large and small trailers.
There are currently four turn out paddocks with either run in sheds or shed row barns. There is a two stall shed row barn with a center tack room located in one paddock and a three stall shed row barn located in another. This enables Fox Whisper to have stall accommodations for eleven horses at the current time.
An all weather schooling ring and round pen are located conveniently behind the barn. Both the ring and the round pen are extremely useful for layup turnout, breaking, training, lessons, exercising and turnout for overnight horse guests.
A lovely trail heads to a grass jumping field (our little bit of Upperville) and to the show ring (300 x 200). An eye appealing stream runs through the center of the property and is fed by natural springs.
Mare and Foal Care - Foaling Out ~ $550
Davera has bred and raised many horses throughout her life, and has the knowledge, training, and expertise to help your mare successfully and easily have her foal and assist mare and foal through the important first few weeks together. The barn is equipped with a large foaling stall and the all weather footing ring makes a wonderful safe first turnout for a mare and new foal. Since Davera and Gary live on the farm, your mare has constant supervision and the barn is set up to have 24 hour watch during foaling.
Rehabilitative Care and Injury Stall Rest ~ $500
With matted, large stalls, fly control, fans and Davera's extensive knowledge of and experience in rehabilitative care, Fox Whisper is the ideal stable for horses that need that special care during recovery. Medication, wrapping, hand-walking, wound care, etc. are all included.
Breaking or Full Training Board ~ $700
Horses that need to be started or restarted the right way are welcome at Fox Whisper. This board package includes all ground work, backing, breaking, and training. Length of stay will depend on horse.
Overnight/Show Stall Board ~ $35.00 per night
Overnight stalls are available for foxhunters, horse shows, trail riders, or travelers. Horses will have a private stall and access to safe turnout in the round pen or schooling ring (all weather footing).
Overnight Hunt Box for Humans ~ $45.00 per night
Fox Whisper offers a lovely hunt box for rent to trail riders, foxhunter, travelers, or show riders. Close to the barn, let this be your "home away from home" when traveling with your horses. Please see the "Hunt Box" page for details and pictures.
