Hunt Seat Instruction~ $65 Private, $55 Semi-Private, $45 Small Group
Hunt Seat lessons are available to all levels of rider. Although only about a dozen horses are kept on the 
property, Davera owns a large group of horses, from beginning mounts to top show horses, who come to Fox Whisper on an as - needed basis. Once a student's goals are discovered, an appropriate mount is provided. Lessons are taught by first establishing strong fundamentals and then building the foundation stronger during each lesson at the individual student's pace. In her 40 years as an instructor, Davera has developed an eye to help rider and horse make quick, easy changes to fix problem areas in their performance. The language is simple and direct with ample amounts of humor.
Davera states, "I have never met a horse or student I didn't enjoy."
Lessons may be paid for on an individual basis.
Payment is due at the end of each lesson.
Side-saddle Instruction~ $65 Private, $55 Semi-Private, $45 Small Group
Davera is a certified side-saddle judge and instructor. She, herself, has competed to the national level as well as her horses and students. She has provided instruction to the Colonial Williamsburg re-enactment ladies, actresses preparing for a movie roles, Civil War reenactors, Victorian or Old West aside students, Hunt Seat aside students, and ladies wishing to fox hunt aside. Many a 4-H student has received aside instruction form Davera on their way to winning at the State Fair.

You may take instruction on your own mount or one will be provided. A side-saddle is provided for lessons, but students wishing to ride aside at the competition or foxhunting level may take advantage of Davera's experience to find them their own saddle suited to their own and their horse's body.
Show Coaching ~ $125 per day
The show ring is where a student and instructor can measure how far a horse and rider team has developed. It is also where weaknesses come to the forefront and can then be addressed at home in the lesson ring. Davera likes all her students to show at their preferred level. Having coached a state wide show team for over ten years, she can get you ready for what is expected of you and your horse in the hunter show ring. Whether going to the show with your horse and trailer or one of Davera's mounts in one of her trailers, showing can be accomplished with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of fun!
Transportation to Shows or Foxhunting ~ $2.50 per mile
